Ren Yanming, a Party member and leader of the hydraulic assembly team at the Hydraulics Branch, works on the front line, leveraging his technical expertise to strive to produce premium hydraulic components, providing a powerful source of power for the "steel strongman" and becoming an assembly expert for hydraulic valve bodies and hydraulic cylinders. This year, he was named a model worker by Xuanhua Construction Machinery.

"Party members should charge ahead in the battle to turn around losses and strive to be the main force in quality improvement." Ren Yanming, who was discharged from the military in 2000, studied and practiced diligently on the job to master hydraulic assembly technology as quickly as possible, humbly sought advice from experienced masters, and delved into hydraulic theory in his spare time, rapidly improving his professional competence. He was promoted to worker technician and became a technical backbone of the branch. The assembly precision requirements for hydraulic valves and hydraulic cylinders are extremely high; an error the size of a hair can affect the operating status of the entire host machine. To ensure a series of technical requirements such as the cleanliness of assembled components, unobstructed oil passages, and fit clearances, he led the entire team to assemble various product components strictly and meticulously. The various valve parts for SD7 and SD8 high-drive bulldozers have high technical content and complex production processes. In order to master their working principles and assembly processes, he studied the structural characteristics of each part, refined the assembly flow, and worked hard to improve the assembly quality of core components. Since the beginning of this year, the various high-drive valve bodies assembled by his team have had no failures, ensuring the good operation of export products and earning market reputation for the company.

With a strong sense of responsibility, he crafts high-standard "Chinese hearts." To enhance the competitiveness of core technologies, he led everyone to assemble precisely and meticulously, striving to make every product a premium item. Hydraulic components have high cleanliness requirements. To ensure that all assembled components meet cleanliness requirements, he organized a task force that successfully debugged an ultrasonic cleaning machine and a high-pressure water cleaning machine, providing a solid guarantee for clean assembly. The fit clearance between the valve stem and the valve hole must not exceed 0.002 mm. During assembly, the valve stem must move freely, but the clearance must not be too large; if too tight, it easily jams, and if too loose, it easily leaks oil. Therefore, the "lapping" of the valve stem and hole is a key part of valve body assembly; the slightest error can lead to reduced valve body precision and malfunction. During assembly, Ren Yanming is strict and meticulous. While ensuring clean assembly, each valve stem must be lapped for 20 minutes, striving for a perfect fit clearance. In response to the outdated cylinder assembly bench that could not meet production needs, he led everyone to innovate and design and build a hydraulic cylinder assembly machine, increasing work efficiency by more than three times while improving product assembly quality. Since last year, the hydraulic assembly team has been rated as a quality and safety demonstration team by Xuanhua Construction Machinery multiple times.
