　　Recently, the world's largest ultra-large rectangular pipe-jacking tunneling machine, independently developed by Shanghai Urban Construction Tunnel Co., Ltd., was officially put into operation on the Weisi Road underpass beneath Zhongzhou Avenue in Zhengzhou.

　　The ultra-large rectangular pipe-jacking tunneling machine uses rectangular pipe-jacking construction with an outer diameter of 7.5 meters × 10.4 meters. The rectangular cross-section can save more than 35% of underground space, reduce tunnel burial depth, and improve the utilization of shallow underground space. The construction work area does not require large-scale excavation, ensuring unobstructed surface traffic.
