Construction of Zhimin Avenue Project in Nanchang, Jiangxi Approved

　　Recently, a reporter learned from relevant departments in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province that this year Nanchang will launch the construction of the Zhimin Avenue road project. At present, the detailed planning for the road traffic engineering of the project has been approved.

　　The Zhimin Avenue road project starts at the West Outer Ring Expressway interchange toll station in the west, intersects eastward with Changxi Avenue, Hehua Road, Ziteng Road, Guiyuan Avenue (Guiyuan Road), and Changjiu Avenue, and ends at Lushan Avenue in the east, with a total road length of 3,660 meters.

　　The existing Zhimin Avenue divides Jiangxi Agricultural University into two campuses, north and south, posing certain safety hazards for campus management and traffic safety. After reconstruction, Zhimin Avenue will build an underground tunnel in the Jiangxi Agricultural University section, integrating the north and south campuses of Jiangxi Agricultural University into a whole and eliminating traffic hazards.

　　As an important link in the "ten horizontal and ten vertical" trunk road network, the reconstruction and upgrading of Zhimin Avenue will greatly reduce the time for vehicles to enter and exit the West Outer Ring.
