　　Yesterday, the People's Government of Lankao County, Henan Province, held an intention agreement signing ceremony with Henan Oubei Aircraft Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Oubei Aircraft") and Shanghai Yuanfei Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yuanfei Aviation"). The three parties will cooperate to jointly build the Lankao General Aviation Airport.

　　According to the cooperation agreement, Oubei Aircraft will solely invest in building a general aviation airport in Lankao mainly serving agriculture and forestry. After obtaining the consent of Comrade Jiao Yulu's family, the general aviation airport is proposed to be named "Lankao Jiao Yulu General Aviation Airport."

　　Moreover, in view of the public welfare nature of the Lankao Jiao Yulu General Aviation Airport, Yuanfei Aviation will provide preliminary consulting services for the airport construction free of charge.

　　According to reports, the planning of the Lankao General Aviation Airport highlights its own characteristics compared with other general aviation airports in our province. The project construction is planned in two phases. Phase I involves building a 600-meter runway and covering about 300 mu of land. The airport's land area is only about 1/10 of the land requisition area of other general aviation airports. Phase II mainly involves the production of aircraft spare parts and the assembly of small aircraft.

　　Cai Yumei, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and mayor of Hongmiao Town, Lankao County, introduced that at present, government departments and Oubei Aircraft have reached a preliminary framework agreement, and land survey work has been carried out in the early stage.

This not only has high operational efficiency, but also saves a large amount of manpower and pesticides, and the fuel consumption for completing the same operational area is also less than that of traditional agricultural machinery.

　　According to estimates, the workload of one Y-5B aircraft in 10 days is equivalent to the workload of 100 power sprayers in 20 days, and equivalent to the workload of 100 agricultural workers in 160 days.

Previously, small aircraft were also brought in from outside to carry out pesticide spraying, artificial rainfall, and other work, but because the coverage of small aircraft is relatively narrow, the fuel carrying capacity is small, and the flight range is short, the effect was not very good," Cai Yumei said. This time, a general aviation airport mainly serving agriculture will be built, with an expected service radius of 1,000 kilometers, covering Lankao and surrounding cities and counties.
