Recently, the selection of the 8th Jiangsu Patent Project Awards, organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Office, has concluded. Following expert review and a decision by the selection leading group, 10 Gold Awards and 50 Excellence Awards were granted for this edition. Among them, the XCMG XR280D rotary drilling rig won the Gold Award for Patent Projects and received a subsidy of 80,000 yuan.

It features multiple innovations in form, humanized design, functional enhancement, and painting style, strengthening users' recognition of and identification with XCMG colors and the XCMG brand. It presents the product's steady, imposing, and professional demeanor and enhances the product image. The product prioritizes user concerns such as safety, efficiency, environmental friendliness, and maintainability; it studies the current development and trends of engineering machinery exterior design at home and abroad, achieving harmonious unity of form, color, and logo. It suits the working characteristics and requirements of rotary drilling rigs, and its safety standards meet national and EU certification requirements.
In today's era of the knowledge economy, the company has accelerated the management and protection of intellectual property and achieved a series of results. In July this year, it not only obtained the Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Strategy Advancement Project with a subsidy of 300,000 yuan, but also was honored as an Advanced Unit for Enterprise Intellectual Property Standardization Demonstration in Jiangsu Province, providing strong support for the company's intellectual property protection and innovation and for achieving sustainable development.
