On February 12, 2014, the first 374F ultra-large hydraulic excavator successfully rolled off the production line at Caterpillar (Xuzhou) Ltd. (CXL), marking the start of CXL's production of ultra-large hydraulic excavators. The project team and representatives of key suppliers jointly witnessed this historic moment.

    According to China Construction Machinery Brand Network, on June 17, 2013, trial structural production of the CAT 374F ultra-large hydraulic excavator began at Caterpillar (Xuzhou) Ltd. Previously, the 374F had only been produced at a European plant, so this trial production was a challenge for CXL.

    Yang Chengjian, General Manager of Caterpillar (Xuzhou) Ltd., said: "Producing large excavators opens a new era for CXL. Through this production we have gained extensive experience and are prepared for future large-scale production. The successful rollout of the 374F expands the company's product line and at the same time enables us to maintain our leading position in the market, further demonstrating the growth and strength of Caterpillar (Xuzhou) Ltd."
