From May 9 to 11, 2014, the "2014 China Nanchang Construction Machinery and Building Machinery Exhibition," hosted by the Nanchang Municipal People's Government, will be held at the Jiangxi Nanchang International Exhibition Center.

 

　　According to the Jiangxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission work conference, preliminary considerations call for arranging 560 major projects in 2014, with a total investment of about 1 trillion yuan and completed investment of more than 280 billion yuan for the year; implementing 200 provincial key projects with a total investment of more than 450 billion yuan. This year Jiangxi Province will complete the Hangzhou-Changsha section of the Shanghai-Kunming passenger dedicated line and accelerate the Ganzhou-Shenzhen and Chizhou-Jiujiang passenger dedicated lines. Construction machinery is recovering growth, and the excavator industry will welcome another spring of development. Starting in 2014, with the gradual economic recovery, fields such as highway construction, real estate construction, and railway construction have directly driven demand for construction machinery.

　　Achieving expressway access in every county: In terms of expressways, centering on the goal of exceeding 5,000 kilometers of expressway mileage open to traffic by 2015, 24 expressway projects will be implemented with an annual investment of 24 billion yuan. The focus is on starting construction of 13 expressways including Ningdu to Dingnan, completing 5 expressways including Xunwu to Quannan, adding 242 kilometers of mileage open to traffic for a total of 4,577 kilometers, and achieving expressway access in every county. Jiangxi invested more than 20 billion yuan in water conservancy construction last year.

 

　　In civil aviation, centering on accelerating the "one trunk and seven branches" civil aviation layout, 3 airport projects will be implemented with an annual investment of 900 million yuan. The focus is on starting expansion projects for Jinggangshan Airport and Ganzhou Huangjin Airport and advancing preliminary work for the Fuzhou Gandongnan Airport.

　　In 2014, Jiangxi's GDP is expected to grow by about 10%, total fiscal revenue by 13%, and public fiscal budget revenue by 13%. Fixed asset investment in projects of 5 million yuan or more will grow by 18%. In 2014, 10 hundred-billion-yuan industries will be formed. The "Opinions" propose that by 2015, the province will have 10 industries with main business revenue exceeding 100 billion yuan, including 1 exceeding 500 billion yuan (copper industry), 2 exceeding 300 billion yuan (food and petrochemicals), and 3 exceeding 200 billion yuan (steel, textiles, and building materials); by 2017, main business revenue of key industrial sectors will double that of 2012, the share of main business revenue of advantageous industries such as pharmaceuticals and electronic information in key industries will reach 40%, the share of strong and excellent enterprises' main business revenue will reach 40%, and the share of priority areas such as Chang-Jiu integration will reach 40%.
