On February 12, the reporter learned from the Yinchuan Housing Security Bureau that after the Spring Festival, the bureau immediately began preparatory work for the construction of various affordable housing projects this year.

　　It is understood that this year the bureau will take a series of actions in affordable housing construction, shantytown transformation, old city renewal and transformation, and heating property management, including implementing the "merger" of public rental housing and low-rent housing, building 6,390 units of various affordable housing projects, and ensuring that low-income families with housing difficulties are fully covered. It will also relax market access, support and guide non-public enterprises and private investment to enter the affordable housing sector, establish an investment return compensation mechanism, innovate investment and financing models, and set up a housing financing platform. Regarding shantytown transformation, Yinchuan will relocate and resettle 17,000 households and transform 27,000 urban shantytown units this year. In the old city renewal and transformation, it will accelerate the construction of roads that were included in the 2013 plan but not yet built, and promote the relocation and transformation of approved areas that have not yet been implemented. It will also solve the housing problem of 830 sanitation workers in Yinchuan this year and carry out comprehensive improvement of 350,000 square meters in 6 old residential communities.
