In the crane machinery category, Zoomlion has successfully developed the world's first super-lift boom technology.
To meet customers' “higher, heavier, more precise” lifting needs, the super-large-tonnage crane B02 project team of Zoomlion's Engineering Crane Company, under the guidance of technical experts and leaders at all levels, spent three years on dedicated R&D and multiple rounds of test verification. It has recently successfully achieved the world's first “super-lift boom” technology featuring “excellent luffing micro-motion performance, strong lifting capacity, and high positioning height,” reaching the international advanced level.
Compared with the pure main-boom configuration of the same boom length, this technology increases lifting capacity by 10%-30%, raises the collision-free positioning height by 5%-10%, and achieves millimeter-level micro-motion performance. In the B02 project application, it meets the customer's requirements for typical 2.0-2.5 MW wind turbine installation conditions, and has won high praise from “hands-on experts” at several professional installation companies that came for technical exchanges, who recommended its wide application to other products of the company.
This technology is mainly used for the installation of wind power equipment, and can also meet large-scale lifting needs with special height and lifting capacity requirements in petrochemical, municipal construction and other fields. It can be added as an independent module to various boom-type cranes, offering broad applicability and promotability, and has already been applied to super-large-tonnage cranes such as B02 and B01.
Zoomlion fully owns the independent intellectual property rights to the super-lift boom technology. To date, it has been granted 2 core invention patents and 4 utility model patents, with the remaining 3 patents in the publication stage.
PSS launches the HookCam crane hook video system
PSS has launched the fifth-generation HookCam, a video camera system mounted directly on the crane hook assembly that provides stable images to the cab operator via wireless transmission.
Crane hook video system
The system gives the operator a direct, on-site view from the hook's perspective, eliminating blind spots and enabling crane operators and corresponding site workers to work more safely and efficiently.
At the same time, the system allows the cab operator to observe the load's speed and swing amplitude in real time, giving the operator more cues and awareness of the current environment and potential safety incidents.
New features of the fifth-generation product include an adaptable mounting system, a sleek design, longer-lasting batteries, solar charging, and an optional black-box incident recorder.
