山推股份公司技术中心于1996年由国家发改委、科技部、财政部、海关总署、税务总局联合认定为国家级企业技术中心。根据《国家认定企业技术中心管理办法》(国家发展和改革委第53号令)规定，国家发改委每两年组织一次国家认定企业技术中心评价工作，对已获批的国家级企业技术中心自主创新能力进行综合评审，经过数据采集、数据初审、数据核查、数据计算与分析四个评价程序之后，国家发展和改革委会同科技部、财政部、海关总署、国家税务总局对评价结果和评价报告进行审核确认，并以公告形式颁布评价结果。
技术中心是企业技术创新体系的主要模式，反映企业创新水平的高低，技术中心评价结果是衡量企业自主创新能力和核心竞争力的重要指标，此次顺利通过评价是对公司在推进技术中心建设，自主创新能力建设方面取得成绩的充分肯定。
