Jiangsu's First New-Generation Slurry Shield Tunneling Machine Rolls Off the Line in Hangzhou

On December 29, Jiangsu Province's first new-generation "slurry shield tunneling machine" completed final assembly and commissioning at Hangzhou Hangguo General Equipment Co., Ltd. in Chongxian Subdistrict, Yuhang District, and rolled off the production line smoothly. It will be shipped to Singapore for use at the start of the new year. The previous-generation "earth pressure balance shield tunneling machine" manufactured by Hangzhou Hangguo General Equipment Co., Ltd. made major contributions to the construction of Hangzhou Metro Line 1. This year, the company again cooperated technologically with a well-known Japanese manufacturer to design and manufacture this new-generation "slurry shield tunneling machine," which represents the current internationally advanced level of shield tunneling machine design and manufacturing. This new-generation "slurry shield tunneling machine" is a single-track metro tunnel shield tunneling machine, with a diameter of 6.88 meters and a total length of more than 120 meters.
