The "Academician (Expert) Workstation" is a creative format initiated by the China Association for Science and Technology to enhance independent innovation capacity, build an innovation-driven nation, implement the strategy of strengthening the nation through talent, organize and mobilize science and technology workers to serve grassroots communities and enterprises, and promote the integration of industry, academia, and research. Guided by the construction principles of "needs as the foundation, projects as the core, enterprises as the main body, and practical results as the fundamental goal," the workstation effectively helps enterprises solve technical challenges, cultivate and train their research teams, and enhance their competitiveness.

At the awarding ceremony, Hu Jishi, Dean of the Xinzhu Corporation Design and Research Institute and member of the Association for Science and Technology Committee, delivered a report on the construction plan for the Chengdu Xinzhu Corporation Rail Transit "Academician (Expert) Innovation Workstation," in which he proposed creative construction ideas regarding the workstation's organizational structure, project foundation, and working model. Subsequently, Zhang Weihua, Professor at Southwest Jiaotong University and Director of the National Traction Power Laboratory, delivered a keynote speech titled "Collaborative Innovation, Common Development."

Lu Xiaodong, Chairman of the Chengdu Association for Science and Technology, highly praised the construction approach of the Xinzhu Corporation workstation and commended the company's method of incorporating the workstation's work into the assessment of its functional departments. The Chengdu Association for Science and Technology will also strongly support Xinzhu Corporation's scientific and technological work and provide practical assistance to the enterprise. Subsequently, Huang Rongsheng, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xinjin County Committee and Head of the United Front Work Department, affirmed the success of Xinzhu Corporation's strategic transformation and expressed earnest expectations for the company's modern tram project research and development, hoping the company would seize the opportunities in rail transit development and build Xinjin into a hometown of rail transit.

Finally, Feng Kemin, President of Xinzhu Corporation, on behalf of the company's employees, thanked Chengdu municipal leaders and Xinjin County leaders for their strong support of Xinzhu Corporation's development. He stated that Xinzhu Corporation would make full use of the "Academician (Expert) Innovation Workstation" platform to accelerate the company's industrial upgrading and transformation, enhance its scientific and technological innovation capacity, and build Xinzhu Corporation into an innovative enterprise in the comprehensive field of rail transit.
