Current Status of Shock Absorption Design for Domestic Rotary Drilling Rigs

The shock absorption design schemes currently adopted by domestic OEMs include:

1. Using high-quality low-alloy steel to increase structural strength.

2. Adding lower bearings to the power head to enhance strength.

3. Replacing square tubes with square steel.

Various manufacturers have adopted some solutions for the vibration caused by rotary drilling rigs during rock drilling, but with little effect. They did not start from buffering the vibration; the schemes such as those mentioned above cannot fundamentally solve the problem of vibration during rock drilling.
