November Bulldozer Market Sales Analysis
The latest data show that bulldozer sales in November were 624 units, down 22% year-on-year. For January-November, bulldozer sales were down 3% year-on-year. Bulldozer sales remain weak, although the year-on-year decline narrowed slightly from October (-33%), and domestic sales also fell 23%, marking the third consecutive month of year-on-year decline. However, this is mainly due to the slowdown in land transfer activity growth from last year's high base. As the first quarter of 2014 begins, the comparison base will remain high. In the bulldozer market share, Shantui was the highest at 61.9%. It was followed by Xuanhua (8.4%) and Zoomlion (7.3%). Experts predict that full-year bulldozer sales in 2013 will grow 1%.
