全国首届旋挖钻机机手技能大赛参赛选手从全国各地报名的300名旋挖钻机操作机手中进行层层选拔，最终有二十名优秀选手参加了最后的总决赛，十名选手脱颖而出。基础公司选手力压群雄，勇夺第一。另外值得一提的是，比赛设备统一采用了徐工XR280D旋挖钻机，XR280D具有超强的稳定性和运输的便捷性，且占据国内钻机市场的半壁江山，因而获得了大赛组委会的青睐。比赛录相将在央视一套 状元360栏目播出。
