The Chongqing Fuling-Fengdu-Shizhu Expressway, built by CCCC Road & Bridge under the BOT+EPC model, has successfully opened to traffic. The project is currently Chongqing's largest-investment and longest expressway, ending the history of Fengdu County having no expressway.

The expressway has a construction period of 4 years and a toll period of 30 years, with a total investment of approximately 11 billion yuan. The project starts at the Haozi Interchange in Fuling and ends at the Dong Interchange in Shizhu County, linking the three districts and counties of Fuling, Fengdu and Shizhu in Chongqing. The project is 110 kilometers long in total and includes bridges, tunnels, culverts and other structures. Due to factors such as the long route, poor geological conditions and a high proportion of bridges and tunnels, construction is relatively difficult.

The expressway is the fastest transport corridor from Chongqing, northern Guizhou and southern Sichuan to the Yangtze River Delta region. It is an important transport link in Chongqing's "One Circle, Two Wings" economic circle and an important component of the comprehensive transportation system along the Yangtze River. It strengthens the economic radiation of Chongqing's main urban area to the Three Gorges Reservoir area and is of great significance for Chongqing's gradual development into a transportation hub and regional economic center in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
