The replacement method uses materials with good physical and mechanical properties to replace part or all of the weak and unfavorable natural foundation soil, mainly including the soil replacement method, mud displacement replacement method, vibroflotation replacement method, dynamic compaction replacement method, sand-gravel pile (replacement) method, and lime pile method, etc.; the drainage consolidation method involves installing bagged sand wells or plastic drainage boards in soft soil foundations and preloading the upper soil layer to accelerate drainage consolidation of the soft foundation, mainly including the preloading method, surcharge preloading method, vacuum preloading method, and the combined vacuum preloading and surcharge method, etc.; grouting solidified materials involves injecting or mixing cement, lime, or other chemical solidifying materials into the soil through external force to densify the foundation soil and improve its bearing capacity, mainly including the deep mixing method, high-pressure jet grouting method, permeation grouting method, and fracture grouting method, etc.; vibration densification and compaction densification densify the foundation soil through vibration or compaction to improve its bearing capacity, mainly including the surface in-situ compaction method, dynamic compaction method, vibroflotation densification method, compaction sand-gravel pile method, blasting densification method, lime-soil pile method, rammed cement-soil pile method, and in-hole ram-expanded pile method, etc.; rigid piles are a method used for treating deep soft soil foundations, mainly including reinforced concrete piles and reinforced concrete pipe piles.
