Recently, at the 2013 Building Materials Industry Integration Promotion Conference, this reporter learned that relevant departments are restructuring the building materials industry integration service platform to provide complete sets of consulting and evaluation services for advancing industry integration, including planning, project initiation, bidding, project implementation, and project acceptance.
Liu Changfa, president of the ChinaBuilding Materials Planning Institute, pointed out that accelerating the integration of informatization and industrialization in the building materials industry is a practical need for implementing the national strategic deployment for such integration and raising the level of informatization development in the building materials industry. It is also an inevitable path for the building materials industry to change its corporate image, enhance market competitiveness, and share the last piece of the cake of technological progress.
Liu Changfa introduced that at present, an important measure for advancing the integration of informatization and industrialization in the building materials industry is to establish a technological innovation alliance for such integration and build a technical support system. Relevant departments will set up a standardization working group for integration in the building materials industry, formulate a work plan for integration standards and organize their compilation, and build a standards support system. At the same time, they will restructure the building materials industry integration service platform to provide complete sets of consulting and evaluation services for advancing industry integration, including planning, project initiation, bidding, project implementation, and project acceptance. In addition, an industry training platform should be established to cultivate interdisciplinary talent in the practice of advancing enterprise informatization.
It is reported that the service platform will also make full use of information technology to build a public service system for small and medium-sized enterprises. Focusing on the diverse and individualized needs of small and medium-sized building materials enterprises, the platform will integrate service resources, improve and perfect a specialized informatization service system for small and medium-sized enterprises in the building materials industry, mobilize and optimize the allocation of service resources, strengthen various service functions such as policy consulting, entrepreneurship and innovation, intellectual property, investment and financing, management diagnosis, market development, and informatization, and enhance the competitiveness of small, medium-sized, and micro enterprises.
