On November 18, 2013, Linjia New Village in Gaoxing Town, Huaying City, Sichuan Province—built with donations from migrant workers Tang Guo and Jiang Peicui and now fully completed and about to be occupied by villagers—looked especially beautiful and serene amid the swirling mist and the glow of the setting sun.

It is reported that in 1993, Tang Guo, then in his early twenties, and his wife Jiang Peicui left Gaoxing Village in Gaoxing Town, Huaying City, their hometown, and went to work for a construction company in Yunnan. Through diligent study, Tang Guo mastered construction techniques and soon rose from laborer to project manager, beginning to independently manage and organize construction projects.

In 2008, Tang Guo established a group company and served as its president, with more than 20 subsidiaries involved in construction, logistics, film and television, and other industries.

Remembering their roots after achieving prosperity, Tang Guo and his wife Jiang Peicui decided to donate 30 million yuan to give back to their hometown by building a 69-villa new village for their fellow villagers, so that they could leave behind low, crude earthen houses and live in spacious, bright Western-style houses like the couple. Construction of Linjia New Village began in the spring of last year. At present, Linjia New Village—integrating housing, water, electricity, gas, roads, and other production and living facilities—has been fully completed and is expected to be handed over to villagers for use before the Spring Festival.
