10月14、15日，包括纽柯钢公司、盖尔道长材北美公司、商业金属公司，以及钢动态公司在内的多家钢厂均上调螺纹钢价格10美元/短吨。提价后，虽然部分贸易商仍维持原价，未立即将钢厂的涨幅转嫁给用户，但也有贸易商尝试着上涨了5美元/短吨，似乎看到了些许上涨势头。
目前美国中西部钢厂5号螺纹钢出厂价约645美元/短吨，东南部钢厂约615-625美元/短吨。
