The YCR160D rotary drilling rig is the new-generation medium-sized rotary drilling rig from Yuchai Pile Engineering. It integrates all the advanced technologies and construction-method expertise accumulated by Yuchai Pile Engineering, achieving innovative application and upgrading of numerous technologies. With many technical highlights, it meets the National Phase III emission standards. The equipment adopts the industry-advanced concept of transporting with the drill pipe attached, offering convenient relocation and transport capability and high mobility. It is widely used for hole-forming operations of cast-in-place concrete piles in foundation engineering such as highways, railways, bridges, ports and wharves, and high-rise buildings. It adopts locked-type or friction-type drill pipes, working with rotary buckets such as sand-grabbing buckets, core barrels, or short augers. It can also be equipped with working devices such as long augers, dual power heads, and casing oscillators for construction.

1. The system is matched with relatively mature imported core components, ensuring the durability and service life of machine operation; the engine runs in the low-speed economical fuel consumption range, reducing operating costs; the main winch motor features load-adaptive control, with a maximum lifting speed exceeding 70 m/min, improving the efficiency of deep pile operations.

2. The extra-large wheel track and widened, reinforced slewing bearing make the equipment more stable and reliable during construction; the travel motor reducer provides strong driving force and strong turning capability, improving construction efficiency.

3. Independent hydraulic oil cooling system controls the cooling fan speed in real time by detecting the hydraulic oil temperature; the electrical system features standardized, modular design, and its strong universality lays the foundation for system reliability.

4. The all-new power head assembly features multi-stage shock absorption, comprehensive protection, and strong torque. It can be optionally equipped with drive sleeves suitable for friction-type and internal-locking drill pipes, increasing the drill pipe guide length and enabling full-casing drive rotary connection for convenient construction; it is equipped with high-strength material drill pipes, extra-long 377-5*11 m friction-type pipes / 377-4*11 m locked-type pipes, enhancing the torsional and compressive resistance of the drill pipes while achieving a maximum drilling depth of up to 50 m.
