Yutong Heavy Equipment Dynamic Compactor Autumn and Winter Maintenance Tips

　　Seasonal climate change is also the maintenance season for vehicles. Regular maintenance and care are of great significance for extending the service life of the machine and reducing fault repairs. As the weather turns cold, the dynamic compactor operates under high load for long periods, so appropriate maintenance measures are very necessary.

　　Overall maintenance actions: The dynamic compactor should be kept clean at all times. After each operation, wipe off the mud on the cab glass. Apply grease to exposed machined surfaces to prevent rust; each lubrication point should be greased according to the lubrication chart; and keep the wire rope lubricated and clean.

　　Daily inspection actions: Check the hydraulic system oil circuit for leakage and whether the oil pipe connections are loose; whether the oil pump connection is fast and reliable; whether the wire rope is severely damaged; whether the main winch leaks oil; whether the instruments, indicator lights, and safety devices work normally. Frequently check the structural connecting bolts, welded parts, and structural components for damage, deformation, or looseness. Check whether the walking device parts are normal; whether the walking reducer gear oil level is appropriate; whether the track shoe is broken or deformed; whether the walking action is normal; whether the guide wheel, support roller, carrier roller, and drive wheel are normal and free of oil leakage.

　　First: (Main winch) Hoisting reducer oil level check and oil change

　　The first oil change is after 150 hours, and then every 500 hours. The oil level of the main winch reducer is checked at a plug on the side. When changing oil, first release the wire rope from the drum to expose the oil filler hole and oil drain hole, then remove the oil drain plug directly below the reducer drum, and then remove the plug directly above to vent, so that the oil can be drained normally.

　　Then install the oil drain plug, pour an appropriate amount of heavy-duty vehicle gear oil through the oil filler port, and finally install the oil filler plug.

　　Second: Travel reducer oil level check and oil change

　　The first oil change is after 150 hours, and then every 1500 hours. Filling method: Rotate the reducer so that the oil plug is horizontal and at the lowest position. Then remove the lower oil plug, and then remove the oil drain plug at the horizontal position to drain the oil. Then rotate the reducer so that the oil plug is horizontal and directly above.

　　Finally, pour an appropriate amount of heavy-duty vehicle gear oil through the upper oil plug. When gear oil overflows from the horizontal oil plug, install the horizontal oil plug. Then add an appropriate amount of gear oil.

　　Third: Slewing reducer and luffing reducer oil level check and oil change

　　Change oil every 1500 hours. First remove the breather plug and oil filler plug, then remove the oil drain plug to drain the oil. Then install the oil drain plug, pour an appropriate amount of heavy-duty vehicle gear oil through the oil filler port, and finally install the oil filler plug and breather plug;

　　The service life of the reducer can be considerably improved through proper maintenance and care measures. Perform a visual inspection daily, especially check the sealing of the reducer. Regularly check the reducer for abnormal noise. Regularly check the reducer oil level.

　　Selection and replacement of hydraulic oil

　　Select hydraulic oil according to ambient temperature. If the ambient temperature is low, use hydraulic oil with lower viscosity; otherwise, use hydraulic oil with higher viscosity. Generally, the winter oil grade is L-HL32, and summer is L-HL46;

　　Selection and replacement of hydraulic oil: The hydraulic oil is generally replaced after 12 months of use or 2000 hours of operation. Each time the oil is changed, carefully clean the oil tank and filter, and fill oil through the oil filler strainer.
