Construction Case
Recently, at the EO/EG unit site of the Gulei Refining and Chemical Integration Project, XCMG's 4,000-tonne crawler crane XGC88000 lifted the upper section of the world's largest thousand-tonne EO/EG scrubber high into the air. At a height of 50 meters, the upper and lower tower sections were perfectly joined and welded, and the 'World's No.1 Crane' continued its lifting legend.

Comprehensive upgrade in difficulty, 'Major Country Heavy Equipment' fears no challenge
It is reported that this scrubber is one of the core equipment of the EOEG (ethylene oxide/ethylene glycol) unit, with a diameter of about 9 meters, a total height of 102 meters, and a total weight of about 2,000 tons. Its super-large diameter and super-heavy tonnage are both the largest among similar process scrubbers in the world today. To erect such a 'big guy' is indeed not easy. Due to the extreme difficulty of lifting the entire tower, the tower body was cut into upper and lower sections at the factory, and assembly was completed at the project site by lifting the lower section into place and then joining and welding the upper section in the air.

Thousand-tonne powerful combination, main and auxiliary cranes work together
At the beginning of last month, the first step of lifting the tower body of the EOEG unit scrubber was successfully completed. XCMG's 4,000-tonne crawler
