The conference focused on the exchange of research on flotation theory, technology, process, and equipment development. 　　Li Yongfeng, Director of the First R&D Department of Haiwang Mining Research Institute, delivered a keynote report titled "Application of Cyclone Separation Process and Equipment in Tailings Treatment". The report introduced the successful applications of Haiwang cyclone classification process and supporting equipment in large-scale projects such as tailings dam construction at Dexing Copper Mine, tailings filling and tailings dam construction at Zijinshan Gold-Copper Mine, tailings dry discharge at Zhangzhuang Mine of Masteel, and tailings sand separation at Wugang Zhongjia Mining.
