From Planning Approval and Drawing Review to Design and Construction: BIM Technology as an Aid
The National Housing and Urban-Rural Development Work Conference held last year called for advancing pilot projects in intelligent construction and distilling a set of practical, replicable technologies. Some cities have given full play to BIM technology's role as a data carrier for the digital management of engineering construction projects, promoting the application of BIM across all stages, including planning approval, drawing review, design, and construction. This drives the transformation of the construction industry toward industrialization, digitalization, and green development, enhances the quality and efficiency of engineering construction, and provides strong support for the development of intelligent construction. At this year's National Two Sessions, multiple deputies and committee members proposed advancing full-lifecycle digital supervision of intelligent construction and promoting the application of BIM technology across all stages from planning approval to project delivery.
